Our boats are captained by experienced fishing guides who have discovered some of the best halibut and salmon fishing spots in BC over the past 20+ years. We use new, top-of-the-line gear and thin, braided 100 lbs test fishing line, so "the big one" might not get away after all...
Care of your Catch
The last thing you want to do, after a fun, relaxing fishing trip is to have to clean, cut, freeze, and package your catch. At Trailhead, we can take care of all that for you! No mess, no smell. We'll clean, cut, package, and flash-freeze your catch to lock in the freshness. All you have to do when you get home is open the freezer door and clear some space (you're going to need it)!
Swiftsure Bank
Often referred to as the "crown jewel" of southern Vancouver Island fishing, the Swiftsure Bank rises up where the outflow from the Strait of Juan de Fuca meets the Pacific Ocean. The super-oxygenated water creates a great habitat for baitfish, which in turn draws in the big guys!
